Inside Talks About Williams Shittu’s House Of Reps Ambition

Williams Shittu, a brother-in-law of the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, is interested in becoming a member of the house of representatives come 2023, earlier report by highstreet.ng indicated.

And if things play out according to plan, the younger brother of Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola will be representing the people of Ede North, South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal constituency at the green chamber of the national assembly.

The federal constituency Mr Shittu wants to represent is located in Osun West Senatorial District.

And has Bamidele Salam of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the current occupier.

Interestingly, those who have encountered Mr. Williams Shittu – a graduate of the University of Ibadan – maintain he has what it take to give his people a quality representation and equally give Bamidele Salam a “good fight” when the time comes.

Going to the house of representatives would afford Mr. Shittu, who presently serves in the government of incumbent governor Oyetola as the Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals, the opportunity to do more for his constituency, a source who is familiar with how he operates maintained.

Checks revealed Mr. Shittu to be a public figure who has used his contacts within and outside the government to uplift a good number of young men in his political base and beyond.

“Don’t be surprised if you see young people from his constituency and beyond coming out in large number throwing their supports his way”, another source stated.
