Femi Gbajabiamila has emerged the speaker of the 9th house of representatives.

It was a landslide victory for the honourable member who served in the last national assembly as house representatives leader.

Mr Gbajabiamila represents Surulere 1 federal constituency of Lagos state.

He polled 283 votes to defeat his opponent Mohammed Bago who got 76 votes.

The newly elected speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and Mohammed Bago are members of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
