Lagos Politician Kemi Nelson Dies

Lagos politician and socialite Kemi Nelson is dead.

Nelson, a former Southwest Women Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), breathed her last on Sunday.

Her passage was confirmed by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Lagos State, Gboyega Akosile, in a post via his twitter handle today, July 17, 2022.

A former commissioner for women affairs and poverty alleviation in Lagos state, Kemi Nelson before her death was one female politicians campaigning for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidency.

born in 1956 and celebrated her 66th birthday on February 9, 2022, she served in the administration of Asiwaju Tinubu from 1999 to 2003.
