Prominent lawyer Chief Richard Akinjide is dead.

A former minister of justice and attorney-general of the federation, Chief Akinjide passed on at age 88 in his Ibadan, Oyo State residence.

The Octogenarian reportedly gave up the ghost around 1am today April 21, 2020.

According to available information, the remains the leading light of legal practice in Nigeria has been deposited at a morgue in Ibadan.
