The EFCC has presented three more witnesses in the ongoing trial of the former Governor of Zamfara State, Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi and three others.

The Commission is prosecuting allegation of fraud of Four Hundred and Fifty Million Naira (N450,000,000) against the ex- governor and his cohorts.

Specifically, the alleged sum was delivered in a bullion van to the residence of the the first defendant, Ambassador Bashir Yuguda on the 27th of March, 2015 for the purpose of influencing the 2015 general elections.

Others being prosecuted along the ex-governor before Justice Fatima Aminu of the Federal High Court Gusau are Aminu Ahmed Nahuche and Ibrahim Mallaha.
