MTN Takes Go MAD Campaign To Universities Across Nigeria

Excitement is building among university students nationwide as MTN Nigeria prepares to launch its Go MAD on Campus with MTN Pulse tour. The first stop is set for the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) from May 27th to 29th, 2025. This initiative is part of MTN’s Go Make A Difference (Go M.A.D.) campaign, focused on empowering young Nigerians through innovative digital experiences, creativity, and meaningful engagement.

The Go MAD on Campus with MTN Pulse tour is designed to inspire, connect, and uplift students through a vibrant three-day event. Activities include digital gaming, cinema experiences where students vote for their favorite movies, and surprise live performances by popular celebrity artists.

The aim is to give students a platform to express themselves, connect with peers, and access digital tools that can help them succeed in school and beyond.

MTN’s Chief Marketing Officer, Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, highlighted the importance of the campaign, saying, “At MTN, we believe in driving progress, giving our customers the power to rise above challenges and create something extraordinary.

The Go M.A.D campaign is rooted in the belief that MTN data gives you the power to take on the world, to achieve the extraordinary, and to make a meaningful difference, in your community, your family, and your workplace. It’s our way of saying: we see you, we support you, and we’re here to make your journey better.”

The Go MAD on Campus with MTN Pulse tour follows successful Go M.A.D. stops in cities like Jos, Kano, Ibadan, and Benin City, where MTN has celebrated local changemakers and encouraged youths to use technology and creativity for community development.

The upcoming Abuja university stop promises to continue this momentum, combining entertainment, technology, and empowerment to create unforgettable experiences for students.

As the tour kicks off in Abuja, students are encouraged to participate actively and take advantage of the opportunities MTN is bringing directly to their campuses.

The Go MAD on Campus with MTN Pulse tour underscores MTN’s dedication to empowering Nigeria’s youth and supporting national development through education, creativity, and digital access.
