Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan Is The Senator Of Kogi Central, Appeal Court Rules

The court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has declared Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan as the duly elected Senator of Kogi Central Senatorial District.

Akpoti-Uduagan is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Lokoja had, in September, upturned the victory of Abubakar Ohere, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the February 2023 Senatorial Election.

Mr.Ohere’s appeal at appellate court was thrown out today, October 31, 2013, for lacking in merit.
