President Bola Tinubu has reached out to Otunba Mike Adenuga, the billionaire founder and chairman of telecommunications giant, Globacom, on the occasion of his birthday.
Born on April 29, 1953, the wealthy Nigerian turned 72 today.
“God Almighty will continue to bless you with good health, wisdom, and renewed vision as you inspire others in service to our nation”, the president said in his special birthday message to the man Nigerians affectionately call ‘The Guru’.
Tinubu who acknowledged Adenuga’s roles in transformation of the telecommunications sector further noted that, “Nigerians will always appreciate Globacom’s ingenuity in disrupting the billing template in the telecommunications sector. By pioneering per-second billing, Glo expanded telephony and digital access to millions of Nigerians.”
