“Not From Us” BUA Group Speaks On Fraudulent Recruitment Exercise

BUA Group, the Nigerian conglomerate with billionaire businessman, Abdul Samad Rabiu as chairman, has distanced itself from activities of some unscrupulous elements offering job opportunities to members of the public via a fraudulent link.

In a statement titled “DISCLAIMER: Fraudulent Job Vacancies” and made available via its social media handle, BUA Group insisted the company – with huge investment manufacturing, infrastructure and agriculture – has not embarked on any recruitment exercise.

The statement where BUA Group also maintained it will never demand payment in any form from job seekers reads…

The attention of BUA Group has been drawn to the activities of some fraudsters promising unsuspecting members of the public job opportunities in a purported recruitment exercise by BUA Group via a fraudulent link – https://lyupz.com/BUA-JOBS-RECRUITMENT2023

For the avoidance of doubt, please note that the fraudulent link did not emanate from BUA Group, neither is BUA Group currently recruiting, nor will demand payment in any form for any job recruitment exercise either now or in the future.

BUA Group will advertise all its vacant positions whenever it is ready to embark on a recruitment exercise on its website: www.buagroup.com or its social media pages.

Members of the public, particularly unsuspecting applicants, should be wary of fraudulent online job opportunities purportedly by BUA Group as anyone who entertains such invitations or deals does so at his or her own risk.

Anyone contacted for the purpose of the purported recruitment opportunities other than through an advertisement duly placed by BUA Group on our website, its social media pages or in national newspapers, should report such invitations to relevant law enforcement agencies.

Thank You.
