Obasanjo Speaks On Visit To Gov Oyetola

Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on Saturday, paid a courtesy call on Governor Adegboyega Oyetola at the Government House, Osogbo.

The former President said it was only fit and proper to visit the governor, having paid a belated congratulatory visit to the former Governor of the State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

He said he was unable to attend the celebration proper, but thought to visit to register his congratulations to Oyinlola, who coincidentally was being honoured in his Church on Saturday.

“I cannot come into Osun State, pass through Osogbo, without seeing the Governor.

It is only fit and proper to visit the governor of the State on the occasion of my visit to the State. I am happy with what I am seeing, especially with the fact that the First Lady is taking care of the Governor and the Governor is doing likewise”, Obasanjo said.

Obasanjo offered prayers and good wishes for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and his wife.
