Obaseki Leads PDP Governors On “Thank You” Visit To Oba Of Benin
The governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki paid a thank you visit to the Paramount ruler of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku’ Akpolokpolo Ewuare II today September 29, 2020.
Obaseki who was reelected as governor on Saturday, September 19, 2020 was at the palace of the respected monarch in company of four governors of his new party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Nyesom Wike of Rivers State; Seyi Makinde of Oyo State; Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto and Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State were the governors that added colour to Mr Obaseki’s visit of appreciation.
Interestingly, Oba of Benin played a lead role in ensuring peaceful conduct of the Edo State gubernatorial election.
