Obi Cubana Released
Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has regained his freedom.
The 46 years old billionaire owner of Cubana Group was released today November 4, 2021 by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
He was taken into custody by the operatives of the anti-graft commission on Monday, November 1, 2021 over reported allegations of money laundering and tax evasion.
Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC spokesman reportedly confirmed the money man has been left off the hook after spending three nights in the detention.
