Obi Cubana Still In EFCC Custody

Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana is still the custody of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) information at the disposal of highstreet.ng has shown.

The billionaire businessman was reportedly detained yesterday, November 1, 2021 by the operatives of the anti-graft agency.

 There are indications Mr Obi Iyiegbu’s arrest was in connection with allegations of money laundering and tax evasion.

Mr Iyiegbu, 46, who held a lavish funeral for his mother, Ezinne Iyiegbu, in Oba, Anambra State in July, is the owner of Cubana Groups.

His right-hand man, Cubana Chief Priest, real name, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, confirmed the wealthy individual is still being held by the anti-corruption agency in an Instagram post today, November 2, 2021.
