Olubadan-Designate, Ladoja, Hails Globacom’s Strides In Nigeria’s Telecom Sector

Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, who is billed to be enthroned as the new Olubadan on Friday, September 26, 2025, has lauded the giant and liberating efforts of Globacom in the Nigerian telecommunications space.

The former governor of Oyo State , who received the Glo Enterprise team on a visit to his Bodija, Ibadan residence, described Globacom as the pride of Nigeria, saying, “all Nigerians must ensure the company continues to succeed”.

According to him, if not for the timely intervention of Globacom, Nigerians would have continued to reel under the exploitation of earlier entrants into the telecommunications market, “where the people would have continued to pay per minute even if all they said was ‘hello, how are you?”

While praying for the continued well-being of the founder and Chairman of the company, Dr. Mike Adenuga, Jr., Oba Ladoja said he looked forward to the support of Globacom during his coronation and afterwards.

Earlier while congratulating Oba Ladoja, Head of Globacom’s Enterprise Sales, Mr. Adeniyi Odejobi, extended the warm regards of the Board and Management of the company to the monarch.

Said he, “Globacom will support your office, and we will ensure that your telecommunications needs are fulfilled”.
