Ondo Deputy Gov Ajayi Resigns From PDP

Agboola Ajayi, The Deputy Governor of Ondo, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party.

Mr Ajayi only joined the PDP a couple of weeks back to contest the for opposition party gubernatorial ticket after dumping the ruling All Progressives Congress.

He lost the PDP ticket to Eyitayo Jegede, an ex-commissioner for finance in the state and former candidate of the party in the 2016 governorship election.

Deputy Governor Ajayi officially notified the PDP secretariat at Apoi Ward 2 in Kiribo, Ese Odo Local Government Area of the state of his resignation on Monday, August 10, 2020, highstreet.ng understands.
