Osun APC Guber Primary: Insiders Tell Why K-RAD Is The Aspirant To Beat
Kunle Adegoke, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has again shown interest in contesting for the governorship seat of Osun State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The prominent legal practitioner, with over two decades of legal, business, and civic affairs experience, who was part of the legal team that handled election petitions for former President Muhammadu Buhari and President Bola Tinubu, contested the 2018 APC gubernatorial ticket against former governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
Oyetola – currently serving in the administration of President Tinubu as the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy – went ahead to defeat Senator Ademola Adeleke (now Governor), the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

And there are indications it will be a straight contest among PDP, APC and the newly launched coalition platform, the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Interestingly, whoever emerges as the candidates of APC and the ADC has the incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party to contend with.
As another primary election looms, information has it that the Osogbo-born lawyer is by kilometres ahead of other contenders for the APC governorship ticket.
According to those in the know, what sets K-RAD, as he is fondly called, apart is simple. He’s one politician with a strong passion for the state and its people, armed with a comprehensive blueprint for the state’s development.
And said to be well articulated in Mr Adegoke’s blueprint for his beloved state are strategies for job creation, infrastructural renewal, improved public services, educational transformation and cultural promotion.
Also tagged fantastic by those who have listened to Mr Adegoke – Whose team is already putting final touches on his soon to be officially unveiled sectoral agenda that would engender progressive and prosperous Osun State – passionately reeling out his ideas are his plans to turn things around especially in major towns like Osogbo, Ilesa, Ede, Ile Ife, Iwo among others.
Further pointed out to be an added advantage for K-RAD who traversed the length and breadth of Osun State for 17 months running a rigorous campaign in preparation for the 2018 APC gubernatorial primary, was the fact that he encountered and understood firsthand the pains of the citizenry.
