PDP’s Eyitayo Jegede Wins Polling Unit

Eyitayo Jegede, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won his polling unit.

He polled 220 votes to defeat the incumbent governor and candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC who got 60 votes.

The deputy governor, Agboola Ajayi of Zenith Labour Party ZLP scored seven votes at the unit.

Jegede voted at Unit 009, Ward 2, Akure LG.

The voting centre is located inside Sacred Heart Primary School, Cathedral area of Akure.
