The President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has cast his vote in the ongoing gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections.

Tinubu, who emerged victorious after defeating former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) during the Saturday, February 25 presidential poll, exercised his civic right in Ikeja, the state capital.

“I just joined other Nigerians in exercising my civic duty in the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections. I encourage you all to go out and vote peacefully”, Asiwaju Tinubu who ruled Lagos between 1999 and 2007 wrote about the development on his verified Facebook handle.
