Pictures: Gov Oyebanji Celebrates Bamidele’s Emergence As Senate Majority Leader

Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has expressed his excitement over the emergence of Senator Opeyemi Bamidele as the Majority Leader of the Tenth Senate.

Opeyemi Bamidele is the senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

The Governor hosted Senator Bamidele and Senate President Godswill Akpabio alongside other prominent members of the Senate.

The event took place yesterday, July 4, 2023, at the Ekiti State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.

His words…

With immense excitement, I extended a warm welcome to the President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio, alongside Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB), our esteemed Ekiti National Assembly Members and other prominent senators as we gathered yesterday at the Governor’s Lodge in Abuja to celebrate the emergence of my brother and friend, Senator MOB as the Leader of the Senate.

This remarkable milestone not only brings great honour to Senator Bamidele but to the entire Southwest zone and in particular, Ekiti State.

I would like to express my profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leadership of the National Assembly and the leadership of our dear party, APC for this honour done to Ekiti. Ekiti kete are extremely grateful for this.

I have no doubt that Senator Bamidele will discharge his duties effectively and work assiduously with other principal officers of the National Assembly to build a harmonious working relationship with the executive arm of government in the overall interest of the country.
