Pray For Unity And Development Of Nigeria, Glo Tells Muslims In Eid-El-Kabir Message

Nigerian Telecommunications Company, Globacom has congratulated Nigerian Muslims on the occasion of 2021 Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

In a press statement released in Lagos on Monday, Globacom enjoined the Muslim Ummah to use the festive period to pray for the unity and development of the country and put the teachings of Prophet Mohamed (SAW) on peace into full practice.

“We rejoice with Nigerian Muslims Ummah as they celebrate the 2021 Eid-el-Kabir festival. We urge them to use occasion to continue promote peaceful co-existence and live up to the tenets of their faith through acts of charity and obedience to the injunctions of the Holy Quoran,” The statement said.

Advising Muslims on obedience to higher authority, Globacom urged them to absorb the lessons of Prophet Ibraheem’s willingness to sacrifice his son in deference to the will of God. 

The company stated further that “It is a season of charity, peace-making and forgiveness.  We must use this season to remember to fend for the poor and the needy in line with Allah’s injunction to be our brother’s keeper,”

Whilst wishing all Muslim faithful a very happy Eid El Kabir celebration, Globacom promised to provide high quality service throughout the season and beyond.
