Prominent Ondo Monarch Highlights Aiyedatiwa’s Laudable Achievements

The Jegun of Ile-oluji, Oba Olufaderin Adetimehin, on Wednesday led other traditional rulers and community leaders of the kingdom on a solidarity visit to the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, at the Governor’s Office in Akure, Oba Adetimehin said the people of Ile-oluji are happy with the Governor and will continue to support his administration.

The monarch commended the Governor for all the positive steps his administration has taken towards the transformation of the State in the last six months.

He listed the recent payment of retirees’ gratuities, construction of roads and recrutment into various sectors of government as commendable achievements by the Governor.

Oba Adetimehin, who congratulated the Governor on his victory in the last governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), pledged the support of the community in the coming election.

Responding, Governor Aiyedatiwa thanked the monarch and his chiefs and other leaders of the community for the visit and support given to his administration.

The Governor also thanked the community for the warm reception he received during his campaign visit to Ile-oluji ahead of the APC primary election in April, adding that he has enjoyed productive working relationship with indigenes of the community in government.

Speaking on some of the requests of the community, the Governor promised to intervene in restoring steady power supply and in curbing illegal mining of solid minerals going on in the community and other parts of the State.

Governor Aiyedatiwa reiterated the commitment of his administration to the development of all sectors and sections of the State.
