Ras Kimono is dead.

The reggae great born Ukele Onwubya reportedly gave up the ghost at a Lagos hospital today – Sunday June 10 2018.

Sources disclosed he passed on after a brief illness.

Well known, Ras Kimono – as he is popularly identified – was one of the touch lights of Raggae music in Nigeria.

He claimed to be a vegetarian of about 37 years in a recent interview with punch.

Specific details of his death remain unclear as the news of his passage spread.
