Insiders disclosed that the popular politician who is vital to the formation of the APC is urging all stakeholders to close ranks and put the party on a strong footing ahead of the 2023 general election.
Societynow.ng gathered that some of the small wins of Tinubu’s efforts are the brokered peace between Governor Gboyega Oyetola and Minister Rauf Aregbesola in Osun state as well as the cohesive efforts that resulted in the landslide wins recorded by the party’s candidates in the recently held Bye-elections in Lagos State – when he was not around.
Sources disclosed that Tinubu who boosted healthcare as governor of Lagos state with the introduction of a General Hospital in each local government started his unifying of the ruling party in the southwest as a “charity begins at home” approach.
Sources disclosed that the larger – and far reaching – results of the influential politician’s behind the scene unifying efforts are the emerging calls for “peace’’ within the party to boost membership in different parts of the country.
