Samsung, Glo Promote AI-Powered Galaxy Z Fold8 Series To Customers
Samsung Electronics, alongside Globacom, hosted another Masterclass at Gloworld, Opebi, Lagos, where the newly launched Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 were unveiled. The event highlighted the exclusive pre-order offers available to customers at Gloworld outlets nationwide.
The interactive session brought together business partners, high-net-worth customers, technology enthusiasts and members of the media for hands-on demonstrations of Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones. Participants explored the devices’ Galaxy AI features, productivity tools and enhanced multitasking capabilities, while learning how the new foldables are redefining the smartphone experience.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 deliver faster processing speeds, intelligent AI performance and seamless multitasking. The devices also feature Samsung’s latest innovations designed to improve both productivity and entertainment.
Speaking during the event, Samsung’s Product Manager, EIP & MNOs Business, Mr. Solomon Osibeluwo, praised Globacom for its enduring partnership and commitment to bringing Samsung’s latest technologies closer to Nigerian consumers. He explained that the Galaxy Z Fold8’s passport-inspired design makes it slimmer, lighter and easier to carry, while the brighter display, Vision Booster and anti-reflective technology ensure a better viewing experience in any environment. According to him, the integrated Galaxy AI features help users communicate more efficiently, create content effortlessly and accomplish more on the go.
Director of Gloworld, Mr. Mohamed Rabie, said the collaboration between Samsung and Globacom continues to deliver innovative products and meaningful value to customers. He noted that subscribers who pre-order the new foldable smartphones will enjoy exclusive rewards in addition to Samsung’s premium mobile experience.
Rabie announced that customers can pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 at all Gloworld outlets nationwide from July 22 to August 20. Each pre-order comes with 10GB of free Glo data every month for six months, a Glo eSIM with a Premium Number, Samsung Care+, flexible payment options and additional benefits worth up to ₦1 million.
The Masterclass highlighted the shared vision of Samsung and Globacom to make premium mobile technology more accessible to Nigerians through innovative products, exclusive connectivity benefits and customer-focused initiatives, while strengthening their long-standing partnership.
