Segun Awolowo Dies At 62

Segun Awolowo is dead.

The deceased is the grandson of Obafemi Awolowo, the first Western Region Premier.

A Lawyer and former Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, he breathed his last at age of 62.

The death of Segun Awolowo Junior who is the son of notable socialite, Abah Folawiyo, was announced by the Awolowo family of Ikenne, Ogun State, today, Thursday, November 2025.

the statement reads: “With extremely heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather- Olusegun Awolowo.”
