Senate President Lawan Bags Fresh Traditional Title

The Senate President Ahmad Ibrahim Lawal has just been conferred with a new traditional title.

He was turbaned with traditional title of Ganuwan Kabi (Defender of Kebbi Kingdom) by Emir of Argungu, HRH, Alhaji Samaila Muhammadu Mera.

The traditional honour said to be giving Mr Senate President great joy came to be yesterday November 6, 2021 at the palace of the first class monarch in Kebbi State.

The arrangement, highstreet.ng gathered, was in commemoration of 25th anniversary of Emir of Argungu as a traditional ruler.

He reacted joyously to the development today November 7, 2012 in a Facebook post that reads..

Yesterday in Kebbi State, the Emir of Argungu, HRH, Alhaji Samaila Muhammadu Mera turbaned me with the traditional title of Ganuwan Kabi (Defender of Kebbi Kingdom).

I want to thank the Emir for the prestigious honour and also congratulate him for his 25th year on the throne as the Emir of Argungu.

My appreciation also goes to the sons and daughters of Argungu for finding me worthy of this honour. I thank you all.
