Senate President Lawan Sends Deputy Omo-Agege Greetings At 59

The Senate President, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan has sent a special message to his Deputy, Senator Movie Omo-Agege on the occasion of his birthday.

Deputy Senate President Omo-Agege, who recently emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 governorship election in Delta State, turned 59 today August 2, 2022.

I heartily congratulate my brother and friend, the Deputy Senate President, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, on the occasion of his 59th birthday.

I join members of his family, friends and political associates in felicitating the Obarisi of Urhobo land on this joyous occasion.

Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has been a great partner in the leadership of the Ninth Senate. He has invested his intelligence, experience and energy in promoting amity and productivity in the red chamber.

As the Senate President, I have found Senator Ovie Omo-Agege very supportive and reliable.

The stability that we experience in the Senate today has been made possible by the cooperation of all our colleagues, with Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege taking the lead.
