Soludo’s Govt Mourns Slain Lawmaker, Justice Azuka
 
The Anambra State government mourns the passing of Hon. Justice Azuka, a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly who represented Onitsha North State Constituency I.

The government commiserates with the  Speaker and members of Anambra State House of Assembly, his family, and constituency, among others, and prays for God to grant his soul eternal rest.

In a statement by the commissioner for Information, Law Mefor PhD, the State  Government applauds the swift and decisive action of the security agencies, who worked tirelessly to apprehend the criminals responsible for the death of Hon. Justice Azuka.

According to the release, the quick arrest of the culprits underscores Governor Charles Soludo’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens and the efficacy of the state’s new security strikeforce, Operation Udo Ga-Achi, which has been recording strings of successes since its inauguration on January 18, 2025.

The Anambra State Government has also assured that it will expedite action against the killers and their accomplices.

In light of this, the Anambra State Government has reiterated its earlier call for the citizens to support its efforts and that of the security agencies to make the state safe and crime-free.
