Once upon a time notorious drug baron, Monsurat Oloruntoyin Ashabi Rufia Abraham is dead.

The deep pocket popularly known as Toyin Igbira gave up the ghost earlier today.

She died in the course of a prolonged and futile fight with killer disease cancer.

Societynow.ng learned that Toyin Igbira has been battling the disease since 2008.

The deep pocket socialite who earned notoriety as a major drug trafficker with arrest and prosecution in the 90s – with another arrest in 2002 – reportedly piled about N150million in medical bills.

Toyin who was jailed twice – two years each– for drug trafficking reportedly spent her last days im the throes of the pains of Cancer.

According to a source “She died here (Nigeria) though she discovered she had cancer in the UK. She noticed her stool was black and when she went to complain in a London hospital, it was discovered that she had cancer.”

A very popular socialite in the mid-90s, Toyin Igbira was the darling of many fuji and juju musicians, particularly Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe popularly known as K1 who is listed as a major beneficiary of the deceased’s deep pocket.

In her 56th year, (she claimed 59) Toyin Igbira is a famous helping hand in the movie industry.

‘’She made her houses available to lots of moviemakers as locations and helped many others with production funds, especially those that operate at the famous Odunfa Caucus with Yinka Quadri and Taiwo Hassan as leaders’’ a source stated.

Widely labeled a ruthless drug baron, societynow.ng learned she is much loved in the movie world for her kind-heartedness.

Some think that cancer that killed Toyin Igbira resulted in “damage” done to her system during the days of trafficking drugs through ingestion societynow.ng gathered.
