The group admonishes the people of the state to always imbibe and demostrate the ethos of Omoluabi , which the state is known for.

“As a state of Omoluabi , we are to, at all times, be conscious of our status as the state’s ambassadors, and continue to exhibit the Omoluabi traits wherever we find ourselves. The government has a duty to fulfill its covenants to the people just as we, the governed, have a duty to perform our civic duties because, tiwantiwa l’Osun. Let the best interest of the state have accommodation in our individual and collective resolutions for the new year”, the group advises.

The Association also wishes the people of the state a recovery of the losses of the year 2020.

“The year 2020 was undoubtedly a year to remember in the history of Nigeria. The year witnessed many downs, such as the outbreak of corona virus disease (COVID-19) and the economic paralysis that followed as a result of the inevitable lockdown; the ENDSARS protests and the wanton destruction that followed in the hands of the protests’ hijackers; the country’s worsening security situation and other pathetic occurrences of the year. May the wounds of the year gone by be healed in the new year. May we be compensated with peace and prosperity in the new year”, the statement concludes.
