Tony Elumelu Goes On A Short Holiday Ahead UNGA 80
African business leader and founder of Heirs Holdings Group, Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu has gone on “a light” vacation.
The chairman of Africa Global Bank, United Bank for Africa’s vacation comes ahead of his plan to join other world leaders at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 80).
The 80th session of the UN General Assembly, taking place in New York, United States of America, opens on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. While Tuesday, September 23, 2025 is scheduled to be the first day of the high-level General Debate.
“Off on a light holiday before the world gathers in New York,” Mr Elumelu wrote on the development via his social media handles on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
