In celebration of his 63rd birthday, Africa’s leading philanthropist and businessman, Tony Elumelu, is set to impact an additional 3,200 individuals through the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF).

This new cohort will bring the total number of entrepreneurs empowered since the initiative’s inception in 2010 to 27,833.

The Chairman of Heirs Holdings and United Bank for Africa (UBA) shared his gratitude on social media, emphasizing that true progress is measured by the opportunities created for others.

“Grateful for another year,” Elumelu posted. “Today, I celebrate life and purpose. In a few hours, we will add 3,200 entrepreneurs from across the continent to our network. I am reminded that real progress is measured by the lives we empower.”
