“Trustworthy, Dependable… ” Gov Sanwo-Olu Reaches Out To Deputy Hamzat At 58

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has, in a special way, reached out to his Deputy, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat on the occasion of his birthday.

Mr Hamzat, who was sworn in, alongside his principal in May 2019, turned 58 today September 19, 2022.

On behalf of my family, Lagos State Government, and the good people of Lagos State, I wish my trustworthy, hardworking, dependable, supportive, reliable and committed brother, friend and partner in the ‘Greater Lagos’ agenda, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, a happy 58th birthday.

Dr. Hamzat is an epitome of dedication and selflessness. A seasoned technocrat, administrator, politician and committed democrat. Dr. Hamzat remains one of the most committed public servants and politicians in Lagos state whose contribution to the progress and political development of our dear Lagos state has been nothing short of outstanding.

Therefore, on the occasion of your 58th birthday today my dear Brother, I celebrate you, and pray that The Almighty continues to bless, keep you and grant you good health and presence of mind, as we steer the ship of governance in Lagos. Amen.
