Unexpected Twist As Maria Becomes Head Of House
On Monday night, Biggie reminded the housemates and viewers that he is still the king of unexpected twists! He announced that there will be no nominations and evictions this week. Biggie made the revelation to the freshly crowned Head of house, Maria in a secret diary session just shortly after the new HoH picked Boma as her deputy.
As part of her responsibilities as HoH, Maria also has to convince her fellow Shine Ya Eye housemates that she will have the veto power to evict two people on Sunday. Big Brother also told her to come up with a scoring book or a system of ranking them, and that the least housemates to impress her will be evicted.
Biggie ended the diary session by imploring her not to turn the housemates into slaves. He also gave her a writing pad to help her sell the story. It is also important that the housemates believe her and that if she succeeds, she gets a reward and if not, she faces the consequences.
Earlier on, Maria had beaten her housemates to the highest point in the HoH games and won the highly contested HoH title. But because she was barred from the HoH lounge by Big Brother last week, she won’t be enjoying the luxury of the lounge during her reign. As a result, her deputy, Boma, had to pick Jackie B to stay in the lounge with him.
Kayvee, one of the housemates in the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye Season, has exited the House based on medical grounds. Prior to leaving the show, Kayvee had a consultation with Big Brother and the on-site medical team, where it was decided that he had to leave the house for a more thorough medical investigation.
