What CEO Ayeni Adekunle Said As BHM UK Introduces Pioneer Public Relations Consultants

BHM Qomms, the UK operations of BlackHouse Media is delighted to welcome and introduce Ronke Sonaike and Zanett Schiller, as pioneer Public Relations Consultants. 

The two ladies will start their new journey with BlackHouse Media UK this August, with their first tasks advising clients across retail; Project Management, financial services, consumer goods and technology. They will also provide support towards the growth and development of the agency in the UK. 

New to their roles, Ronke and Zanett are both eager and excited to grow with BlackHouse Media and take on the new challenges.

Speaking on joining BlackHouse Media, Zanett Schiller states, ‘‘I have always had a passion for communications, the thrill of working with people and having the power to influence them is what motivates me. I also have a strong affinity for positive ties between African and British markets, so it is a pleasure to work with such a diverse and international Public Relations Agency such as BHM and I am thoroughly looking forward to growing in my role and leaving my imprint and legacy behind with BHM.’’  

Zanett Schiller has her undergraduate degree in International Relations and Film Studies from Keele University in Newcastle, UK. She has worked closely with INGOs in Africa such as MIFUMI, a grass-roots womens rights organisation in Uganda and African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF), one of Africa’s leading health NGOs. She has also provided communications and web development services to various black-owned businesses in the UK. 

Zanett currently specializes in public relations and content creation with the aspiration of significantly strengthening the ties between African and British markets by 2025. She also enjoys writing and published her first novel in 2019.

Zanett and Ronke will both work to bridge communications between organisations in the UK and Africa by providing bilateral communications solutions to support organisations and impact change.

“I am positive that our approach to communications will be groundbreaking and will further strengthen the ties between UK and Africa”, says Ronke Sonaike who has both her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in communications from Babcock University in Nigeria, and London South Bank University respectively. She also has a Doctorate in Business Administration from University of Wales Trinity Saint David. She has previously worked at the Lagos State Ministry of Education in Nigeria and has provided other marketing communications services to small businesses in the UK. 

Speaking on the appointments, Founder & CEO, Ayeni Adekunle, says, “I’m excited to have Ronke and Zanett join the team. We have a lot planned for the UK business and I’m happy to have the ladies join us to build a business that we will all be proud of.”
