What Will Happen To The Affected Buildings As Gov Sanwo-Olu Visits Site Of Lagos Helicopter Crash
The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has visited the site of yesterday, August 28, 2020, helicopter crash.
The helicopter, Bell 206 with registration number 5N-BQW belonging to Quorum Aviation crashed into two buildings in Opebi area, Ikeja, Lagos State.
The unfortunate incident reportedly resulted in death of the pilot, Captain Chike Ernest and two other occupants of the Chopper.
The governor, who was at the scene to see things for himself, assured the occupants of the two affected buildings that his government will, among other things, take responsibility for the renovation of the structures.

I was at the site of the helicopter crash at Opebi for an on-the-spot assessment. We sincerely sympathize with the families of the victims. I met with the residents of the buildings and we all thanked God for his abiding grace.
I have ordered an immediate integrity test conduct on both of the affected buildings to know the level of impact. We are taking on the responsibility of renovations and will provide all the necessary support to cushion the effects of this tragic incident.
