Why Ex-Gov Donald Duke Is Extremely Happy At The Moment

Donald Duke, the former governor of Cross Rivers State is extremely happy today, highstreet.ng understands.

And the reason for present state of mind of the politician who governed the south-south state between 1999 and 2007 is straightforward.

Married to tall and beautiful Onari Duke, and born on September 30, 1961, Mr Duke turned 60 today.

The development is said to have transformed to great joy for the former presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) who boasts of friends from every nooks and crannies of the country and beyond.

This was evident in a post on his Facebook handle where he revealed how he feels celebrating 60 years of “earthly existence” in good shape.

The Facebook post of former Governor Duke who recently rejoined the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reads…

With a heart full of gratitude, I celebrate today my sixth decade of earthly existence. I am also most grateful for the various opportunities I have had to serve both at national and state levels and for the contributions I have been privileged to make to society.

I also want to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to my family, friends, political associates as well as many whom have reached out to me privately and through various media to congratulate me as I attain the diamond age. You are all very much appreciated. Most importantly, please help me through your prayers, thoughts and actions become a better human being and forgive me for all my transgression through omission or commission. Thank you all again.
