Investigation conducted by highstreet.ng has revealed there is a powerful individual in the government of Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State.

It is no other person than the wife of the 65 years old governor, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola, findings have showed.

And source of her influence is simple, she played a vital role during the struggle that transformed her husband into the gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), another source disclosed.

“She is actually reaping fruits of the kind of role she played while her husband was vying for the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial ticket”, our source maintains.

“Former governor Rauf Aregbesola wanted another party man Adelere Oriolowo… Oyetola was at some point about to chicken out… But thanks to the wife who pushed him to fight till the end”, the source further disclosed.

Mrs Oyetola’s position eventually turned a sweet story as the husband won the APC ticket and also went ahead to defeat the candidates of the opposition parties at the general election.

And turn of events has transformed her into an influential player in the government of her husband.

That also explains why she has the ears of the governor and always has her ways in the scheme of things as far as who gets what is concerned, an insider stated.
