Ngosi Okonkwo, the Chief Legal Officer of Oando Plc, is dead.

Oando Plc, the company she joined in 2009, confirmed her demise in a tweet via its Twitter handle on Friday, June 5, 2020.

“Oando has lost a true leader – kind, passionate, driven, focused and diligent.  She was an exemplary professional and an astute lawyer who commanded respect from all who knew her. #RIPNgoziOkonkwo”, Oando Plc tweeted.

Information pieced together by highstreet.ng revealed Mrs Okonkwo died from cancer complications.

Reacting to her death, Wale Tinubu the Group Chief Executive Officer of Oando Plc simply wrote on his twitter page “#RIP Ngozi J. Okonkwo, Chief Legal Officer.”

Mrs Okonkwo, a 1997 law graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka previously worked with F.O Akinrele & Co (a law firm) and later with KPMG Professional Services before joining Oando.
