Why Ojokoro LCDA Boss Hammed Tijani Deserved Another Term In Office – Prince Abimbola Oginni

Prince Abimbola Oginni, a known member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has said Hammed Idowu Tijani, the incumbent Chairman of OJokoro LCDA, deserves a second term ticket.

And the reason for his stand is simple, he believes his performance should ordinarily guarantee his reelection.

In a chat with highstreet.ng Dr. Oginni, who described the council boss as intelligent, humble, responsive, and accessible with core knowledge of grassroots politics maintained his achievements in the last three years and ten months should speak for him.

Hon Hammed Tijani, a graduate of Business Administration from Lagos State University, and a fellow of Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management (CIPDM) assumed office as chairman on July 23, 2017.

Tenures of council Chairmen and councilors in Lagos state end in July 2021.

Honourable Hammed Tijani is seeking reelection for another term of four years.

All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries to determine who represents the party at the election hold in few days to come.

“I like his style of governance, likewise other leaders of the party at local government level and beyond share my sentiments. He runs an all-inclusive government. I believe we need more people like him for our party to achieve its transformation agenda. That is why you see people like me rooting for him”, Mr. Oginni told highstreet.ng.

Listed as achievements of the man popularly known as H.I.D by his political associates are Construction of and roads across the 7 wards of Ojokoro LCDA, Construction & rehabilitation of Health Centres, Supply of equipment to ICT Centres and Grading & Maintenance of existing roads, provision of patrol van for police to enhance security, Youth empowerment and sports development, regular monetary and materials supports for the aged widows, widowers and the less privileged.

All these, Prince Oginni believes, will ultimately place his man ahead of other contenders.
