The former gubernatorial candidate of Action Democratic Party, Babatunde Gbadamosi and his wife have been released on bail.

The politician who recently rejoined People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and his better half were admitted to bail yesterday, April 7, 2020.

Information gathered revealed the Lagos police command granted Mr Gbadamosi and his wife bail on the ground they lack constitutional power to hold them beyond the period stipulated by law.

Mr Gbadamosi and his wife submitted themselves to the police authority on Monday, April 6, 2020, for interrogation for acting contrary to government’s Coronavirus directives by attending birthday party actress Funke Akindele held for her husband Abdulrasheed Bello.

The birthday party held inside Funke Akindele’s Amen Estate home in Ibeju Lekki Area of Lagos State.
