Why Reps Member Wole Oke Is Rated Ahead Of Others As General Elections Hold This Saturday

Busayo Oluwole Oke, a major financier of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, is one of the House of Representatives candidates to beat in this general election. those who are familiar with the politics of the state have maintained.

The general elections – Presidential and National Assembly Elections – are scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

And Oke, who currently represents the people of Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency in the green chamber of the national assembly, is seeking for votes of his constituents for another term.

Interestingly, information filtering in revealed the lawmaker, who played a noticeable role in the election that brought Governor Ademola Adeleke to power, to be ahead of other contenders for the Oriade/Obokun federal constituency seat.

Securing reelection may not be difficult for the lawmaker with the reputation of providing over 300 gainful employments for his people, insiders insisted

“His kind gestures, not limited to his party PDP and his constituency, have evidently swelled his support base”, sources who are familiar with his brand of politics maintained.

“BOO, as we fondly call him, has touched a lot of lives in this federal constituency, he has continued to give jobs to our youths… and truthfully, there isn’t a town or community that has not benefitted hugely. From the provision of school buildings and learning equipment, multi-purpose halls, renovation of traditional rulers’ palaces to other life-enhancing facilities across all the 22 wards in the federal constituency… I can tell you he has lifted over 300 out of poverty through provisions of employments,” an insider disclosed.

And that explains why many believe he has the backing of those that matter in the scheme of things including the traditional rulers, another insider stated.
