And he’s no other person than Adewale Olumide Egbedun, the speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly.
Born on June 29, 1985, the 38 years old politician who became speaker on June 6, 2023, represents the people of Odo-Otin constituency in the state house of assembly.
Interestingly, those who are familiar with their relationship have gone ahead to tag him as the right-hand man of the executive governor.
Sources maintain he’s more that the speaker of the state assembly in the scheme of things.

Information at hand revealed his emergence as the speaker is courtesy of the kind of relationship he enjoys with Gov Adeleke.
“He enjoys a very cordial relationship with governor… this has been the situation before he was elected to represent his people in the state house of assembly and the eventual emergence as speaker”, an insider told highstreet.ng.
According to information, Egbedun has the duo of Davido – David Adeleke and B-Red – Adebayo Adeleke – the musician son of Governor Adeleke to thank for his closeness to the state’s number one man and by extension his current status.
Music superstar Davido is Governor Ademola Adeleke’s nephew.
Egbedun is Messrs B-Red and Davido’s mutual friend, highsteet.ng reliably gathered.
