Why Tony Elumelu is Very Restless At The Moment

African leading entrepreneur, Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu has just assumed a new role and appears very restless at it, information at the disposal of highstreet.ng has revealed.

This development, sources say, is in connection with the kind of attention latest additions to Heirs Holdings, one of the conglomerates he oversees, are receiving at the moment.

The new additions the 58 years old economist who is also the chairman of Pan African financial institution, United Bank for Africa (UBA) is personally attending to are Heirs Insurance and Heirs Life Assurance.

The new entrants into the nation’s insurance sector were officially launched on June 1, 2021.

An earlier report by highstreet.ng indicated the development brought a great joyous the way of the consummate banker.

Mr Elumelu’s position on the two businesses is very simple, he can’t afford to see them not transforming into success in record time, a source pointed out.

This explains why other players in the insurance sector of the economy have dubbed the leading African businessman who is married to Awele Elumelu, 57, the “chief marketing officer” of the new entities he is very much passionate about.

Interestingly, the founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation’s restless and relentless approaches are said to be paying off and by extension throwing a lot of goodwill the way of Adeobi Nwakuche and Niyi Onifade who are Chief Executive Officers of Heirs Insurance and Heirs Life Assurance respectively.

“Mr Elemulu is a fantastic businessman and immediately after his insurance outfits were officially launched players in the sector know the atmosphere will not be the same again… He has kept other players on their toes… You know he has the contacts and connections… I can tell you he is unofficially the chief marketing officer”, our source explained.
