Wike Remains My Boss Regardless Of What Happened, Gov Fubara Says

The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara has said his predecessor and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, remains his boss.

Sir Fubara maintained this while speaking at the opening of 2023/2024 legal year and re-dedication church service which held at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church, Hospital Road in Port Harcourt on Thursday, November 9, 2023.

His insisted that despite the ugly incidents in past few days, Wike, whom he warmly greeted at the event, is still his boss.

Governor Fubara’s statement came days after political crisis that saw the Rivers State House of Assembly threatening him with impeachment.

“I have always called my Oga, is still my Oga, regardless of whatsoever that has happened in the last few days, and l never recruited anybody to malign any person, Mr Fubara, who shared the same with former Governor Wike at the church service, declared.
