The governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has been disqualified from taking part in APC governorship primary.

The party primary is scheduled for June22, 2020.

Mr Obaseki’s disqualification was carried out by All Progressives Congress (APC) screening committee for the Edo State governorship primary.

Jonathan Ayuba, the chairman of screening committee, made the declaration today, June 12, 2020, while presenting his report to the party chairman, Adams Oshiomhole in Abuja.

Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State was instrumental to Obaseki’s emergence as the state helmsman.
