Why Ademola Adeleke Is Very Uncomfortable At The Moment
Emerging information has it that Ademola Adeleke is a bit uncomfortable at the moment.
Adeleke, a former senator, is the candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2018 gubernatorial election in Osun State.
He has again shown interest in the guber contest as the tenure of the incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola approaches the end.
Another gubernatorial election holds in the state on July 16, 2022. While all that has to do with political party primaries are expected to be finalized before the end of the first quarter of the coming year.
And said to be giving the “dancing senator” a sleepless night of sort is the fact that one of his kinsmen, Dele Adeleke, who recently made known his intention to contest for PDP governorship ticket, is enjoining the backing of powerful forces within and beyond Osun State Chapter of the opposition party.
“The support Dele Adeleke is getting is huge, there are stakeholders in the party at the state level and beyond already rooting for him… They believe he has what is lacking in his uncle (Ademola Adeleke)”, a source who is familiar with state things stated.

Information pieced together revealed Dele, a former banker with the now rested Pacific Bank, to be nephew of the fun-loving politician who became a senator following the death of his brother, Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke- a former governor of Osun State – who previously occupied the senate seat.
Pacific Bank had billionaire Deji Adeleke, who is Ademola Adeleke’s brother, and Dele Adeleke’s uncle, as a major promoter.
Interestingly, Dele was one of the leading strategists who worked vigorously and closely with Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2018 gubernatorial election.
He went ahead to crowned this with the role of party agent at the state collation centre for the gubernatorial election.
This explained why Senator Adeleke is pained that a blood relation he has so much trust in could show interest in a governorship seat that is very dear to his heart, a source pointed out.
