Faces And What Stars Wore To AMVCA Runway Show

The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) returned with an 8-day lineup after a one-year hiatus, and the second day saw the first-ever AMVCA runway fashion show.

Miz Vick hosted the show at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, and it was a vision to behold. The runway show featured nine designers handpicked among several entries and trained by Mai Atafo, DaSilva Ajayi, and Adebayo Oke-Lawal.

The fashion show attracted several big-wigs in the fashion industry and Nollywood, from Ebuka- Obi Uchendu, Nancy Isime, Denola Grey, Osas Ighodalo, Stephanie Coker, Timini Egbuson and Uti Nwachukwu, amongst others.

The AMVCA’s lineup of events continues tomorrow with the Young Filmmakers’ Day with movie screenings and panel discussions by students of the MultiChoice Talent Factory.

IK Osakioduwa and Bonang Matheba will host the 8th edition of the AMVCAs awards ceremony on Saturday, May 14th, at the Eko Hotels and Suites to round up the events.
