Access Holdings Launches Fitness Campaign Ahead Of 2026 Lagos City Marathon

As the festive season approaches, Access Holdings is redefining what Christmas looks like by putting health, fitness, and intentional living at the centre of the celebrations. In the lead-up to the 2026 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, the brand has launched a Christmas health and fitness campaign designed to encourage Nigerians to stay active, make healthier choices, and end the year feeling strong, physically and mentally.

Traditionally, Christmas is associated with rest, indulgence, and slowing down. This campaign flips the narrative by showing that celebration and wellness can coexist. Through a series of fitness-led activities, digital content, community engagement, and educational storytelling, Access Holdings is inviting individuals, families, and communities to embrace movement as part of their festive routine.

“The Access Bank Lagos City Marathon represents discipline, resilience, and collective energy,” said Amaechi Okobi, Chief Communications Officer, Access Holdings. “As we count down to the next edition, Christmas presents the perfect opportunity to remind people that small, consistent healthy habits can make a big difference, even during the holidays.”

The campaign focuses on simple, accessible fitness actions such as daily walks, light runs, stretching routines, and mindful eating, encouraging participation from both seasoned runners and everyday Nigerians. Content will roll out across digital platforms, media partnerships, and community touchpoints throughout the Christmas season.

Besides physical fitness, the campaign also highlights the importance of mental wellness, balance, and community connection, values that align with the spirit of the season and the broader goals of the Lagos City Marathon.

By linking Christmas wellness to marathon readiness, Access Holdings aims to inspire a healthier start to 2026 and reinforce the idea that fitness is not seasonal, it is a lifestyle.
