Afenifere Leader, Ayo Fasanmi Is Dead
Elder Statesman and prominent leader of Afenifere – Yoruba sociopolitical group – Pa Ayo Fasanmi is dead.
The respected politician and former senator passed on at the age of 94.
Pa Fasanmi’s son, Hon. Justice Obafemi Fasanmi reportedly confirmed his death on behalf of the family.
Though from Iye Ekiti, Ekiti state, the Yoruba leader had better part of his life in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
